You log in with your regular Second Life account and decide to go around the grid testing this exciting new viewer and ‘oh my’ it works. FREE STUFF! A few minutes later you receive notifications that you have been banned from this SIM, That SIM and yes that other one where you buy your favorite clothes from. You receive notices of ejections from groups and IMs from owners telling you that you have been banned and IMs from friends telling you that your name is being scattered all over the grid as a possible scammer/thief. Then you’re distraught. you’ve been banned from every known store on gthe grid.

Now just because you may  feel that a certain designer is selling his/her goods at too outrageous a price doesn’t give you the right to go stealing items. When you do receive your ban from SIMs  and get your SL account disabled, please do not cry and call Linden Labs asking them to reinstate your account, because you got exactly what you deserved; a ticket out!

Some might argue that newbies cannot purchase high priced goods. No one is telling them to buy the items. There are lots and lots of free AND low priced items in world. Of course, the free stuff is never going to be as high in quality as high priced items, but no one is making anyone buy from a certain store and designers should not have to bring down their prices just because some people think they’re too high priced. For every one person that refuses to buy from a store because the prices are high, There are two other people who will buy the items because they can afford them.

Instead of stealing, why not just go get a SL job like everyone else, SHIZ,

How the fudge! are you going to copybot someone’s items then put them up for sale at 80% reduction THEN add your store to a hunt. I would think that would be basic common sense but hey, 60% of folks in Second Life are nutcases and psychos so.. what can i say?

Cryolife and NeilLife users, please be aware that if you are found to be using these viewers you will be banned on site and that without remedy.

Secondly, I love reading the posts on http://www.slinworldtoday.com. In as much as Natalie, Rawly and the rest seem to like writing about the negative aspects of SL, they 99.99999% are right about things that happen in game. I maintain the policy, if you don’t like it, stay off the website and do your best to keep your name off the journalistic radar.

Now that would mean acting like you have some sort of common sense and quit being a “diva, washole, cheating bastard, thief, etc”. Do you have the willpower to do so? Do you have the basic human ability to act nice to others and be a model Sl citizen. Come to think of it, not many do. Its so sad.

Now on the other hand,  one has to realize that SL is SL, in that, you cannot charge outrageous amounts for goods and services ‘just because’ it seems to not add up to good money in RL. You can’t go charging someone 15k for a pair of Virtual Shoes just because it may or may not have been difficult to make and because that’s regular price for shoes in RL.

How the Fudge!!! are you gonna charge someone 4k for a headshot just because you think you the ship photographer. Please!!! Must be out of your mutha fudging mind! Where people go wrong is when they start comparing the time spent to do work with Real Life Dollar amounts. You’re doing the work for a virtual world. For a virtual client and you can’t be thinking of it in RL dollar amounts.

Morphing faces and making avatars look more like real life persons doesn’t give you the right to RIP PEOPLE OFF. Now course there’ll be persons willing to pay the outrageous prices, like 35k for 15 pictures. That’s up to them really. Wish them all the best when they realize a week later that they did something really stupid.
